2016 Halloween @ Sturgeon Point

frog witch This year Halloween festivities are taking place at Sturgeon Point on Saturday, October 29th.

NEW for 2016, a form that will help us know how many people are attending both the park event AND trick-or-treating.

Please complete this information if you are going to the park, trick-or-treating OR handing out candy! RSVP is requested by Thurs.Oct.20th.

On the day of the event the fun will start at 11am with face painting and pumpkin carving at the Park.

Looking for a volunteer to lead a Halloween craft for the kids!
If you are interested, please let Judy Haverkort know ([email protected]).

At 6pm, take a journey through Sturgeon Point’s Treat Trail and pick up goodies from those that are shelling out.

wink-frog The long weekend finishes off with running and novelty races on the lawn at Swanannoa (50 Lake Avenue) starting at 10:00am.

Event categories are online.

Programmes will be handed out at the event.

This is your last opportunity to drop of food or donations for the Salvation Army Food Drive.

SLSC Sailing Regatta – The regatta notice is on the SLSC site. Non-sailors are welcome!
BBQ & Street Dance at the Park – 6pm to 10pm. Details online.

Salvation Army Food Drive at the Church. Service starts at 10:30am.
Water Races at the public dock – 2pm. Details online. Volunteers are needed – email [email protected]
Sailing Regatta Prize Giving at Rosehill – 6pm
