Last Call for 125th Sturgeon Point Anniversary Swag Orders!
You saw the swag at Canada Day and you want it? Well, you’ve still got time to order it, but not much time!

Exciting News! We’ve opened a window for new orders! Place your order by July 8th and you’ll have your gear for the Civic holiday weekend. You can check out the swag, and place your order on Sunday at the Canada Day BBQ, or download the order form, fill it out and email it no later than July 8th to [email protected]. Celebrating 125 Years: Canada Day Kickoff
We’ve got a busy weekend ahead of us! It’s the kickoff of our 125th Anniversary Celebrations, starting with a lineup of events for Canada Day on Sunday, June 30th!
Canada Day Celebration Details:
10:30 AM: Join us at the church for a museum exhibit and talk titled, “Ripples in our Heritage: Importance of Our Waterways in Sturgeon Point and Kawartha Lakes”. Delve into the rich heritage of water use in our community, exploring its historical significance and relevance today.
11:30 AM: Move to the Upper Wharf for a special ceremony:
- Witness the raising of the flag and join in singing the National Anthem.
- Dedication of the 125th Anniversary commemorative tree, marking Sturgeon Point’s historic milestone.
12:00 PM: Celebrate Canada Day at the park with our annual BBQ:
- Enjoy hot dogs, hamburgers, fresh fruits, veggies, water, and desserts.
- Meet and greet with Mayor Doug Elmslie and Councillor Mike Perry.
- Bring your own lawn chair and reusable cups/plates to help us reduce waste.
While at the park, don’t forget to visit the SPA table to:
- Register or renew your SPA Membership in person for continued community support.
- Pick up (or order) your 125th Anniversary swag.
- Sign up to join our SPA Volunteer Team.
Back by popular demand is the Canada Day silent auction bake sale. If you have a knack for baking and would like to contribute homemade treats, we would be delighted to sell them. Let us know by filling out this form by no later than June 28th.
